I was raised on the prairie (Kansas to be exact) and moved to the Valley of the Sun in 2006. I am in my mid-30’s, married, have two teenage stepsons, and mama to two rottweilers and three rescued cats.
I was a 9-1-1 dispatcher/operator for 14 1/2 years. The last five of which, I was the Director and it really became very stressful. In 2006, with college diploma in hand, my husband and I finally took off for Arizona. I took a month off, traveled to Northern California, then landed a job at a mutual fund investment company and began my new life in AZ. Then personal/family issues I needed to attend to took me off the radar for awhile, but I’m back now and ready for new adventures.
My passion is studying people, places, and things. I never want to stop learning and become an old crabby woman that thinks she knows it all. I am a tech/gadget junkie and an aspiring SNW (social networking whore). Future plans - I want to travel the world, blog/vlog my life, do something creative every day, get a graduate degree, read all the books I own, and be a better human being.
My other online homes: Tumblr, Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

very nice bio!
Hi Natalie,
Well, since I don’t see an email address anywhere on the site, I get to leave this comment for all to see.
Like a growing number of busy internet and new media douchbags, I subscribe to a LOT of RSS feeds. In fact, I’ve made it a point to subscribe to the feeds of all the Phoenix Twitterati. Well, as many as I can. It allows me to keep up with that they are doing. Well, at least what they post.
But a few of my newfound Phx Twitterati friends aren’t making my life very easy. Why? They aren’t putting out a “full-post” feed. You’re in this group. Right now, your WordPress settings only push out excerpts of your posts, keeping me from reading the content or watching the video in my feed reader.
So… do me (and the rest of those like me) a solid and change your settings to push out the full post so I can keep up with you, too?
E.
